Business Ethics
Ethical business practice is not a policy add-on at LaabamOne — it is the lens through which every engagement, partnership, and decision is evaluated. Since our founding in 2006 we have maintained a zero-tolerance stance on fraud, misrepresentation, and any conduct that could undermine the trust our 191+ clients place in us. This commitment is embedded in our service agreements, vendor contracts, and employee performance frameworks.
Our ethics governance structure includes a board-level Ethics Committee that meets quarterly to review policy effectiveness, investigate escalated matters, and set the ethical direction for the company. Day-to-day oversight is managed by the Chief Compliance Officer, supported by ethics champions in each practice area who serve as first points of contact for ethical queries.
We also evaluate ethical risk when onboarding new clients and vendors. Due diligence processes screen for sanction-list exposure, adverse media, politically exposed persons, and historical compliance issues. If a potential engagement poses unacceptable ethical risk, we decline it — regardless of commercial value. Integrity is non-negotiable.

While this may impact short-term revenue, it reinforces the trust that sustains long-term client relationships and protects our brand reputation across all three markets.
We share anonymised ethical case studies internally to build decision-making muscle across the workforce. These "Ethics in Action" sessions are held monthly and have become one of the most attended internal learning programmes, reflecting our team's genuine commitment to doing the right thing.
