Employee Resource Groups

Employee-led communities that provide support, networking, mentorship, and advocacy — covering women in leadership, LGBTQ+, multicultural professionals, differently-abled employees, and working parents.

Employee Resource Groups

LaabamOne's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led communities that bring together individuals with shared identities, experiences, or interests. Each ERG is sponsored by a senior executive and receives dedicated funding for events, projects, and professional development activities that benefit both members and the broader organization.

Our five active ERGs — Women@LaabamOne, Pride Alliance, Multicultural Network, Abilities First, and Working Parents Circle — operate across all three offices and serve as vital channels for grassroots feedback, peer mentorship, and cultural celebration. Members organize workshops, speaker series, heritage month events, and community outreach programs throughout the year.

ERGs also play a strategic advisory role, consulting on product design, client engagement, and internal policy development to ensure diverse perspectives are represented. This dual function of community building and business impact makes our ERGs a cornerstone of LaabamOne's inclusion ecosystem across 15+ nationalities.

Each ERG operates with an annual charter that outlines goals, budget, and success metrics aligned with LaabamOne's broader D&I strategy. Quarterly reviews with executive sponsors ensure resources are deployed effectively and that ERG insights inform company-wide decisions.

Participation in ERGs is open to all employees — both those who identify with the community and allies who want to learn and support. This inclusive approach has driven consistent growth in ERG membership, with over 60% of our 500+ team members actively involved in at least one group.
