Mentorship at LaabamOne is not an afterthought — it is a formal, structured programme that pairs every professional with a senior mentor outside their immediate reporting line. This separation ensures you have a trusted advisor who can offer candid guidance on career decisions, skill development, and navigating organisational dynamics.

Mentors and mentees meet at least once a month in dedicated one-on-one sessions covering goal setting, progress reviews, and career planning. Mentors draw on their own journey — often spanning Big 4 firms, multinational corporations, and entrepreneurial ventures — to provide perspective that goes beyond day-to-day project work.

Our mentorship programme also includes reverse mentoring, where junior team members mentor senior leaders on emerging technologies, generational perspectives, and digital trends. This bidirectional exchange strengthens our culture, keeps leadership grounded, and gives junior staff visibility with decision-makers.

Beyond Career Advice

The best mentorships evolve into long-term professional relationships. Many of our mentor-mentee pairs continue their relationship well beyond the formal programme, with mentors advocating for their mentees during promotion discussions and helping them navigate pivotal career transitions.

We also run group mentoring circles — small facilitated groups of five to six professionals who meet quarterly to discuss shared challenges, industry trends, and leadership principles. These circles broaden your support network beyond a single mentor relationship.
