LaabamOne's Green Office Program transforms our physical workspaces into models of sustainability without compromising employee comfort or productivity. All three offices — in Madurai, Tubbercurry (Co Sligo), and Melbourne Docklands — follow a unified green-office playbook that covers energy, water, waste, and procurement.

Energy-efficient LED lighting with occupancy sensors has reduced lighting electricity by 45 percent. Motion-activated HVAC zoning ensures heating and cooling run only in occupied areas. Water-saving fixtures and rainwater harvesting at the Madurai campus further shrink our resource footprint. Recycling stations categorise waste into paper, plastics, glass, organics, and e-waste at every floor.

Our green procurement policy mandates that all new furniture, stationery, and cleaning supplies meet recognised eco-label standards. Vendor scorecards now include sustainability criteria weighted at 15 percent, ensuring that our supply chain aligns with our environmental values. Employees participate in quarterly green audits, fostering a culture of shared ownership.

Employee-Led Green Teams

Each office has a volunteer Green Team of five to eight employees who champion sustainability initiatives locally. These teams run monthly awareness campaigns, organise car-pool rosters, and identify new savings opportunities. Their quarterly reports feed directly into our company-wide ESG dashboard.

Green Team members receive dedicated training on environmental management and are recognised at our annual awards ceremony. The programme has become one of LaabamOne's most popular internal volunteer opportunities, with a waiting list at every location.
